thanks virginiajoe and tony...it's all about that dog..seems he's made life quite nice for himself. Heating, a room with a view...except...it seems his little haus is probably a lookout-post of some kind---thus the upper window---but the dog is definitelely not on the job: he's pointing the wrong way...
