Thanks! Sure, I like Moebius...also inspired by all sorts of current amazing concept artists, there are lots of them so I won't name them all; beyond Moebius I like even better Miyazaki's design work, very inspiring...
Well sure Moebius was very influential, no doubt about that...but I think some people, notably Miyazaki, have gone far beyond him...as either a comic artist or as a storyteller in general I find Miyazaki's vision much richer and deeper and more inspiring...warmer, too...
I had to google him, shame on me. Looks really beautiful. By the way, on the google image, one of the first thing you see is him with Moebius. :) They really seem to share some love for fantasy. But you´re right: Moebius is a little bit colder, its a world that really seems to be purely made of lines.
Hey--you don't know Miyazaki?? His films, or his manga? you have to see them all...
Moebius and Miyazaki are having some kind of show together, you probably saw this: http://www.miyazaki-moebius.com/
I think Moeb is more purely interested in drawing for itself, with story and character secondary, while Miya wants to draw as a means to show us his worlds, his characters...
I actually got into Moebius, because i heard he was an influence on master Miyazaki...I think if you look at their drawing style (miyasaki's nausicca manga and moebius comics) there is a lot of simillar rendering. But i definitely enjoy Miyazaki's work more.
I love being a channel for creativity and since roughly 1979 I've been creating comics covers and pages, graphic novels, animation background designs, illustrations, and more.

Man, what you do for fun, most of artists´d be happy to be able to do for the job.
Truly amazing. Been in awe since I´ve saw your work at Draw!
On a side note, looks like you´re a Moebius fan, uh?

You´re right, there´s a lot of guys like that today. On comics I´m thinking on the guys from Flight, for instance. Lots of great concept design there.
Its just that, you know, Moebius´s shadow is so big... I see him on the Fligh guys a lot too.
